- 1/4 head (2-3 cups) cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 rib celery, sliced
- 1/4 c. sweet pickle relish
- 1/3-1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- Toss vegetables together in large bowl.
- Add pickle, mayo and sugar.
- Mix, taste, and add salt and pepper, if needed.
My Mom's Note: I like my coleslaw creamy and sweet, so you may need to add more mayo or pickle relish . Be careful about the salt. The pickle relish and mayo are both salty. Taste before you salt.
